A lot of people bewail the huge variance in lawyers' fees from one province or city to another. In Cebu, at least, the Cebu Province and Cebu City Chapters of the IBP sought to standardize the fees and issued Joint Resolution No. 01-2018 which adopted in 2018 the Standard Minimum Attorney's Fee Schedule.
A caveat must be made though. This fee schedule is the minimum a lawyer (in Cebu) may ask for his services but one can always and freely ask the him about such fees. This fee schedule excludes Court and other government fees.
